29th February, 2012: We are visiting Fox's Marina Chandlery again. Their electronics expert, George, will be telling us all about the advances in marine electronics. Please be there for 7:pm. If you need feeding beforehand some of us will be eating in the bar at the Oyster Reach across the road.
28th March, 2012: AGM and fitting out supper. We are once again taking advantage of the hospitality of The Flying Fortress PH. Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds. Their carvery is legendary and prices we believe are unchanged from the laying up supper. Carvery, Dessert & Coffee £14.50. We would prefer you to pay by cheque on the night. Stuart will be there to organise this. Meet at 7pm for 7:30 meal followed by our AGM. This is your club so it is to your advantage to attend if possible......and the beer's good too.
26th April, 2012: We have arranged a joint meeting with the Felixstowe Ferry Yacht Club in their club house at the ferry. Meeting at 6:45 pm for a fish & chip supper after which John White, the Harbourmaster, will take us along the beach to inspect low water then back to the club house for a talk on the mysteries and vagaries of this ever changing entrance to the Deben. Please note this is a Thursday and not our usual Wednesday meeting.
30th May, 2012: Another great "away-day" has been provisionally booked for a tour of the Haines powerboat factory in Catfield, near Gt. Yarmouth. Arrive at 4:30 pm with the tour expected to last 'till 7 ish. and maybe a meal in a pub later.
27th June, 2012: It's B-B-Q time of year again. Full details to follow
28th July, 2012: Hopefully, if the weathers good, we will try to arrange some sort of "on-the-water" event. Notification will be by text a couple of days ahead.
25th August, 2012: Barry is organising our third trip to Shotley Marina for another weekend rally and pontoon party. The last two years were such a success we just have to go back.
28th November, 2012: Laying Up Supper 7:30. at The Flying Fortress.
